What is InterEurope’s role in the claims handling process?

InterEurope act within the Green Card System (more information at cobx.org) which was designed to ensure that victims of cross border accidents are as well protected when they have an accident with a foreign or national vehicle in their country.

Furthermore, within the CEE, we have the protection of visitors system (also known as the Fourth Motor Insurance Directive claims) to ensure that you can claim your damages in your country of residence, even when the accident occurred abroad.

As a service provider to over 200 insurer companies, there is a good chance that we are the competent entity to handle your claim. Submitting your
claim to InterEurope

We offer you various channels to submit your claim. The fastest and secure way, is through our online claims submission.

The claims process has a few simple questions regarding:

  1. The event: information on date, time and place
  2. Your person: your role as either a victim / claimant or a representative, as well as information on your vehicle or similar
  3. The foreign party, such as the registration number, make and model of the vehicle
  4. The foreign insurance company

You furthermore have the possibility of uploading documents at the end of the process, to help us be faster.

If you submit documentation pictures at the end or not, you will receive an automated confirmation that we have received your claim and you will be informed of your claim number and a link to your claim.

In all, the whole process takes about 10 minutes and is secure for you and for InterEurope AG.
